Mini bio
How it started.
Beauty was part of Nikki’s childhood: her mother was a hairdresser with a salon, and Nikki was buying beauty books around age 11. She trained and worked as a hairdresser before building a career in makeup.
Finding an audience.
Nikki built her name after moving to Los Angeles, working with celebrity clients and sharing practical beauty advice. Her signature combines glowing skin, textured brows, bright eyes and coordinated cheeks and lips. Bobbi Brown brought her on as an Artist in Residence.
Making her own formulas.
Her first brand, Róen Beauty, reached shoppers in 2019 with shimmering eye products. After leaving it in 2020, she co-founded ciele with Cerre Francis. Launched in August 2023, ciele grew from Nikki’s interest in makeup with SPF and her experience of adult acne.
