Mini bio

How it started.

Peter grew up in Hungary, picking out melodies from cartoons and films on a grandparent’s upright piano. Classical piano and composition studies led to Berklee College of Music in Boston, where film scoring and a wider mix of musical styles helped shape the work fans hear today.

The breakthrough.

Peter began posting videos while studying at Berklee. In 2015, a piano arrangement of Michael Jackson’s Bad, combined with Smooth Criminal, reached a much wider audience. The clip is a rehearsal performance, a fitting introduction to the rhythmic, physical approach that became a signature.

A whole piano’s worth of sound.

The piano’s body becomes part of the percussion in Peter’s arrangements. Looping and electronic effects add layers in concert. The Awesome Piano, released by Steinway & Sons in 2020, paired covers with original compositions; PianoSphere followed in 2023 with pieces such as Reflection and Ancient Paradise alongside film themes and pop songs.
