How it started
Mehdi asked his mother to let him learn cello when he was five. He started producing at 11 after finding music on SoundCloud, and posted his own tracks while still at school.

His 2015 track “Sunset Lover” crossed from an online hobby into a career. His debut album Presence followed in 2017, on his 18th birthday.
Making his own way
He releases music independently through his label Écurie. For 2020’s Parachute he brought his own voice further forward; on insomnia he explored ambient music inspired in part by film soundtracks.
