Mini bio
How it started.
Risham grew up performing at school, in competitions and at college festivals at the National College of Arts. Before focusing on music, she juggled painting, a clothing brand and singing. A visit to SomeWhatSuper’s studio led to her debut single, “Kunwaray”, released in 2019. Its later appearance in Churails brought the song to a wider audience.
Finding her sound.
Her catalogue brings Punjabi vocals into pop, hip-hop and electronic settings. “Chunni” credits her as writer, composer and vocalist; “Wakhri Dhamaal” pairs her with Ali Sethi for the film Wakhri. The Survival EP and her 2025 Atif Aslam duet “Turbo” offer two more ways into her music.
Where she is now.
On her official channel, RFB describes herself as a Toronto-based artist who writes, composes, produces and records her own music. She draws on her Punjabi roots and personal experiences. Visual art remains part of her story too: in her 2024 interview, she talks about making tattoos alongside music.
