Mini bio
How it started.
Growing up in Kyiv, Oleksandr discovered Counter-Strike through his older brother Alexey at about four years old. In his Plarium interview, he traces his first thoughts of going pro to playing CS 1.6 two-on-two tournaments around age 12 or 13.
A play fans remember.
His 2016 spell with Team Liquid helped take a North American lineup to a CS:GO Major final for the first time. Against fnatic in Cologne, he dropped from Cache’s heaven position and landed two no-scope AWP kills. The play received its own in-game graffiti. He joined NAVI that August.
The NAVI years.
With NAVI, s1mple won PGL Major Stockholm and the Intel Grand Slam in 2021. HLTV ranked him first in 2018, 2021 and 2022, making him its first three-time Player of the Year. NAVI’s farewell credited him with 21 MVP medals during his time at the club.
The next chapter.
After a FaZe loan that included the 2025 Austin Major, he left NAVI for BC.Game in July 2025. Fans can follow both sides of his work: tournament Counter-Strike and gameplay on his own Twitch channel.
