Mini bio
How it started.
Born and raised in Belgium in an Iraqi family, Sandra moved to the UAE after more than twelve years in Belgium. Disney films, musicals and a musical family fed an early love of singing. As a teenager, Sandra began sharing covers on YouTube, then brought them to Instagram.
Finding a sound.
Those covers built an audience and led to original music. Victor Magazine describes “Coconut” as Sandra’s first song and “Ya Hayati” as a step into Arabic-English pop. French releases followed, reflecting Sandra’s Belgian upbringing.
Love Languages.
Sandra’s debut album arrived on June 20, 2024. Ahead of its release, Sandra spoke about embracing Iraqi heritage and combining French, Arabic and English in music. The album showcase at The Fridge in Dubai brought new songs together with earlier singles.
