A move to tight end helped him break through in his third NFL season. He went on to win three Super Bowls with Denver and Baltimore and entered the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011.
From the field to the studio.
After retiring, he became an analyst on CBS’s The NFL Today, then spent 2016 to 2023 debating Skip Bayless on Undisputed. He joined ESPN’s First Take in 2023; his run there ended in 2025.
