Mini bio

How it started.

Shaun comes from Gosport in Hampshire and studied Music Technology and Media Production at the University of Chichester. After graduating, they focused on social media. In their SoundBetter interview, Shaun recalls learning production by making cover versions for YouTube and improving through the quick turnaround those videos required.

From covers to original songs.

YouTube became the foundation of Shaun’s audience. Their version of Stay with Laura Pringle appeared on Sweden’s singles chart in 2013, and their songwriting reached Tyler Ward’s album Honestly that year through The Way We Are. Original work with Black Prez includes the 2015 EP Play This at a Party and the 2023 single Move To This (The Curley Shuffle).

Behind the desk and behind the mic.
