From the pitch.

Born in Buenos Aires, Kun joined Independiente as a child and made his first-team debut at 15 in 2003. His career took him to Atlético de Madrid, Manchester City and Barcelona before he announced his retirement in December 2021.

Finding his stream.

Streaming began during the 2020 lockdown after his son and brother encouraged him to try Twitch. In his Esports Insider interview that November, he described wanting something to do and a way to entertain people. Gaming contacts helped him improve his streams, and he said the audience had already passed 2.5 million followers.

Building KRÜ.

Those early streams introduced him to esports and helped spark the idea for KRÜ, which launched in October 2020. He wanted to bring his experience as a professional footballer to a club that could develop players, staff and a community over time.
