Mini bio
Finding their instrument.
Spencer grew up in Manhattan and tried trumpet, flute and drums before a friend demonstrated beatboxing at tennis. Fascinated by what a voice could do, they studied online videos and began performing at school events. Their 2014 video One Beatboxer, 14 Genres explored how vocal percussion could move beyond hip-hop.
From the street to the feed.
Before TikTok, Spencer busked in Union Square and performed with groups ranging from a cappella singers to a Russian rock band. They began posting to TikTok in 2019 and moved to Los Angeles that year. A successful livestream and early brand deals helped turn years of practice into a living.
Songs and screen roles.
Their original videos Be Somebody and The Beat build music from vocals. Spencer later appeared as Karaoke DJ Bryson in He’s All That and voiced Sound Effects Smurf in the 2025 animated film Smurfs. Their current feed mixes beatbox challenges with gaming and card collecting.
