How it started.

Spencer grew up in Manhattan and practiced for passersby in Union Square before finding a large audience online. In a 2022 HOLA! USA interview, Spencer recalled a friend on the high school tennis team demonstrating beatboxing, prompting a rush home to research and practice.

Finding an audience.

After years of posting on Instagram and YouTube, TikTok brought a breakthrough in 2019. Spencer told HOLA! USA that an early TikTok video went viral and that the goal of making a beat every day became a much larger body of work. Forbes later included Spencer in its 2021 Social Media 30 Under 30 list.
