Mini bio

How it started.

Before Still Woozy, Sven Gamsky studied music and played in Feed Me Jack. He introduced his solo project in 2017 with “Vacation,” building songs around the mix of acoustic playing and electronic production that would become his signature.

The song that opened the door.

“Goodie Bag” became his breakout, drawing listeners into short, layered songs with soft vocals and restless grooves. The Lately EP followed in 2019, then his first full album, If This Isn’t Nice, I Don’t Know What Is, arrived in 2021.

A place for the people he loves.

His second album, Loveseat, arrived on June 28, 2024. In interviews, Gamsky described writing about friends and family as well as romantic relationships. He also brought in live drumming and reconnected musically with childhood friend Cole Williams.

Beyond his own records.

Gamsky has collaborated with Remi Wolf on “Pool,” remixed the Marías’ “Hush,” and helped produce SZA’s “Too Late.” He told FLOOD that the SZA connection grew from a long jam session with a friend from high school.
