Mini bio

How it started.

Tanner grew up in Dallas after moving from Los Angeles as a child. A guitar received at Christmas at age ten led to home recordings and, as a teenager, the band Disco Curtis. After the band ended in 2010, Tanner began pursuing solo music.

Finding an audience.

The first Tanner Patrick introduction went up on YouTube in August 2011. A live “Stereo Hearts” cover followed that September, with Tanner credited for production and editing. The debut single “Merry Go Round” arrived in 2012. E!’s Opening Act brought an opportunity to open for Brad Paisley.

Originals and familiar songs.

The Waiting Home, Tanner’s debut album, came out in April 2014. Covers remained part of the story, including Lewis Capaldi’s “Someone You Loved.” In 2024, The Vintage Vault gathered ten versions of older favorites, followed by a spring run of singles beginning with “Flatline.”
