Mini bio
How it started
The band formed in Regina in 2012. Nate Hilts has recalled early conversations about groups like Trampled By Turtles and Old Crow Medicine Show, followed by learning their instruments as they built their sound.
Finding their audience
They started out playing bars and small venues. Their 2014 debut Good Company included In Hell I’ll Be In Good Company, whose 2016 video helped bring the band to a much wider audience.
On their own terms
The quartet followed with Illusion & Doubt and Sugar & Joy, both JUNO winners. They made 2024’s Chains & Stakes in Mexico City with producer Jimmy Nutt, and recorded the forthcoming Silence, Please at Abbey Road.
