Mini bio
How it started.
Toby Smith grew up in West Sussex and created his Tubbo accounts in 2018. Streaming began as an after-school hobby. He started with Counter-Strike, then switched to Minecraft because viewers could join his server and play alongside him.
Finding his people.
His audience grew rapidly in 2020, when he joined the Dream SMP. Shared adventures and roleplay with other creators became central to his work. In his 2025 interview with TheGamer, he described running The Realm, a private fantasy Minecraft server where he and other streamers roleplayed as wizards.
Making bigger shows.
That love of playing together also runs through No Dice, his streamed Dungeons & Dragons project with OwengeJuiceTV, Aimsey, bekyamon and Krowfang. Tubbathon 4 brought another ambitious plan: 30 days of streaming with 30 events. In 2026, his projects included the Fantastic Pets add-on and two Minecraft speedrunning worlds.
Music on the side.
He released “Life by the Sea” featuring CG5 in August 2021. Official Charts records a No. 84 peak on its midweek Official Singles Chart Update. In December 2024, he teamed up with Badlinu for the cover “New York, Newer York.”
