Mini bio
How it started.
Growing up near the beach in Puerto Cabello, Vero dreamed of seeing the world. She studied social communication because she admired travel television, worked on radio programs and eventually began making her own travel videos. In her Horizontes interview, she recalled saving $2,000, flying to Bogotá and exploring South America by bus.
Finding an audience.
By December 2023, Horizontes reported that Viajando con Vero had passed one million YouTube subscribers. The channel pairs destination information with personal experiences, from a helicopter flight over Salto Ángel to days at the beach with her family.
A wider view of travel.
In a September 2026 retrospective, Vero traced her videos back to 2018 and described a shift toward documentary travel, including communities, cultures and remote destinations. After reaching 117 countries, she set a new goal of 150 while reflecting on the importance of staying safe. Her subsequent Bangladesh series explores markets, work and life on the rivers.
