Mini bio
How it started.
Before Wengie became a full-time creator, Wendy Ayche worked in accounting and digital marketing. She began with beauty content and developed a YouTube audience from 2013. Her creator name draws on her Chinese name, Wenjie.
Finding her format.
Her channel grew as she moved from makeup tutorials into life hacks and DIY projects. Edible school supplies, slime and oversized food experiments became part of her world. Fans could follow along with the making, then return for challenges and collaborations, including pancake art with Collins Key.
Music and acting.
“Cake” introduced her first English single in 2018. In 2019 she teamed up with MINNIE of (G)I-DLE for “EMPIRE”, and she has also released music as WRAYA. Her screen work includes voicing Bliss in The Powerpuff Girls for Australia and New Zealand and appearing in the short film Parked.
Still sharing her world.
In 2026, the National Film and Sound Archive selected her for its first YouTube Creator Capsule. Alongside new music under WENGIE, fans can find personal updates and travel videos on WengieKitty, where she also points listeners to her music as iamkitty.
