Mini bio
How it started.
Born in Karachi and raised in Lahore, Hannan studied computer science at GIK Institute. He experimented with covers and recording software as a teenager, then began releasing his own music during the pandemic. His debut single, “Faaslay,” arrived in 2020.
The songs that travelled.
“Bikhra” and “Iraaday,” both collaborations with Rovalio, brought him a wider audience in 2022. He followed with the four-track Diya EP in 2023 and joined Kaavish for “O Yaara” on Coke Studio Season 15 in 2024.
Making room for music.
In his 2023 Thought Behind Things interview, Hannan explained why he kept a software engineering job alongside music: it gave him structure and the freedom to choose projects. His hands-on studio work continues in songs such as “Kinaaray,” which he wrote, produced, mixed, and mastered himself.
