Mini bio
How it started.
Adelaine started the YouTube channel C0OK1EMONSTER in summer 2011. A Canadian teenager making beauty videos, Adelaine reached the final six of the 2013 NYX FACE Awards before returning to win Beauty Vlogger of the Year in 2014. The competition entry included looks inspired by The Fault in Our Stars, Scooby-Doo and The Lion King.
Making things of their own.
In 2019, Adelaine teamed up with Tarte on an Eye & Cheek Palette with nine eyeshadows, a blush and a highlighter. That April also brought the official music video for “Yellow.” Beauty, music and the signature yellow aesthetic came together around the palette launch.
Girls supporting girls.
In a 2020 Modeliste interview, Adelaine described Girls Supporting Girls as an apparel brand that donated a portion of sales to nonprofit causes. Connection with viewers was central to the work, across beauty videos, daily vlogs and music.
Life on camera.
Girl Talk, made with Studio71, ran from 2022 to 2024 and covered dating, relationships and personal stories. The weekly vlog channel, Adelaines Camera Roll, now brings viewers into travel, beauty routines, home projects and personal milestones.
