How it started.

Alex grew up in Petaluma, California, and began modeling at 12 in 2015. She signed with IMG Models in 2019 and made her runway debut for Tom Ford in 2021.

Finding her people.

Her absurdist TikTok videos gave fans another way to know her. Public dance breaks and lip syncs became part of her appeal. In Vanity Fair, she recalled being advised to quiet her online presence, but chose to keep the community and voice she had built.

Beyond the feed.

Alex appeared in Charli xcx’s 2024 “360” video and became the first trans woman to win Model of the Year at the Fashion Awards that December. Her work now includes campaigns for Gucci and Stella McCartney, plus the role of Morwenna in American Horror Story: 13.
