How it started.
Andreea grew up in Romania and began experimenting with makeup as a child. In her first year of college, she landed a job doing makeup for a television news program. After graduation, a year-long aesthetician course deepened her understanding of products and how to build a look.
Finding an audience.
Her YouTube channel began in 2015 with Romanian-language tutorials filmed by her husband, Alex Rosu. A job with Anastasia Beverly Hills at Sephora brought her to Paris. When she struggled to find models there, she started demonstrating makeup on herself. Her 2017 video Makeup Mistakes to Avoid, showing contrasting techniques on the two sides of her face, became her breakout.
On set and on camera.
Andreea combines tutorials with professional makeup work. Her agency lists clients including Natalia Vodianova, Candice Swanepoel and Karlie Kloss. Fans can also follow her through work trips, product reviews and everyday life in Paris.
Beyond the makeup chair.
Her relationship with Portuguese jewelry brand CINCO began in 2019 and led to a joint collection in 2022. In a brand interview, she named the Andreea earrings as her favorite piece.
