Mini bio

How it started.

Artemas Diamandis grew up in Oxfordshire and taught themself to play instruments and produce music. Watching the Kurt Cobain documentary Montage of Heck at 16 helped spark their interest in writing songs. Much of the early work took shape in a bedroom, with High 4 U arriving in 2020.

Finding an audience.

The 2023 single if u think i'm pretty brought Artemas a wider audience and their first appearance on the UK singles chart. The mixtape pretty followed in February 2024. A month later, i like the way you kiss me reached listeners around the world, peaking at No. 3 in the UK and No. 12 in the US.

Building a world.

The mixtapes yustyna, LOVERCORE and getting up to no good expanded that dark pop sound. Collaborations include MUSTANG BABY with Nessa Barrett and BRAIN with Diplo and d00mscrvll. In interviews, Artemas describes a love of strong melodies and intense emotions, and says touring helped shape the writing on LOVERCORE.
