Mini bio
How it started.
Ayesha grew up in Lahore and studied Fine Arts at the National College of Arts. Singing in school and college bands, performing in theatre and acting in college sitcoms gave her several ways into entertainment. Work brought her to Karachi, where she also spent years as a VJ for MTV Pakistan.
Becoming Khoobsurat.
Her role as Khoobsurat in Bulbulay made her a familiar face to television audiences. The sitcom became a lasting commitment alongside dramatic roles and films. She made her lead film debut in the 2015 road comedy Karachi Se Lahore, also singing Tutti Frutti for its soundtrack.
Choosing new characters.
For Taxali Gate in 2024, she played Muskan and stepped into producing. She worked with makeup artist and dialect coach Qasim Liaqat to build a character distinct from her earlier roles. Mera Lyari later brought her back to a story about women navigating difficult circumstances, this time through football.
Beyond the screen.
On her official YouTube channel, Ayesha shares fashion, lifestyle, makeup and behind-the-scenes videos. Music is another ongoing thread: she helped write and compose Har Koi Yaar Nahi with collaborators including Alex Shahbaz and Zaheer Zarf. Hosting work includes SpeakEasy and the Urdu reality series Lazawal Ishq.
