Mini bio
How it started.
Bella grew up on a farm in Pangasinan in the Philippines and loved singing long before TikTok. In their Vogue Philippines interview, they remembered learning “Reflection” from Mulan and finding inspiration in Lea Salonga. They later served in the U.S. Navy, then began posting on TikTok in 2020.
The breakout.
An August 2020 lip-sync to Millie B’s “M to the B” brought Bella to a huge audience. Music followed with the 2021 debut single “Build a Bitch.” Warner reported that its video entered the global and U.S. YouTube video charts at number one.
Building a musical world.
The Dolls EP arrived in 2022, with Bella credited as a vocalist and songwriter. In 2026, their debut album Picnic at the Cemetery expanded their dark-pop storytelling through the Bigheads, characters they drew by hand. The album title draws on All Saints’ Day traditions in the Philippines.
