Mini bio
How it started.
Ajey Nagar began posting on YouTube around age ten. In an Entrepreneur interview, Nagar recalled wanting to make it a career at thirteen, starting with gameplay and gradually trying other kinds of videos.
Finding a voice.
Hindi comedy and roasts helped establish the CarryMinati identity. TIME described a further breakthrough when the January 2019 track “Bye PewDiePie” went viral.
A place to hang out.
CarryisLive began in 2017 as a separate home for gaming streams. The channel now also includes vlogs and behind-the-scenes videos. Nagar told Entrepreneur that livestreaming helps them understand and connect with fans.
Beyond the gameplay.
Nagar wrote and performed “Yalgaar,” with music composed and produced by Wily Frenzy, and collaborated on “Date Kar Le” with Romy and Salim-Sulaiman. Charity broadcasts are another part of CarryisLive, including the 2026 fundraisers for flood relief.
