Mini bio

How it started.

Born in Colombia and raised in New York City, Charles grew up reading fashion magazines. After high school, a $300 eBay Birkin purchase became a $5,000 resale, opening a path into sourcing bags and advising private clients.

Finding a new voice.

Charles built an early audience on YouTube, then began posting consistently on TikTok in early 2021. The new approach put conversation first: explaining luxury products, answering questions and inviting people into a world that can feel difficult to enter.

The breakout.

The softly spoken delivery and “Let’s talk about it” invitation became signatures. A 2022 video comparing two Birkins became a widely reused TikTok sound. Alongside handbag explainers, Charles covers fashion, beauty and lifestyle.

Beyond the feed.

The work has expanded into brand collaborations and editorial appearances. W Magazine invited Charles to open holiday gifts and share luxury shopping tips in 2023; in 2026, Charles helped launch Fashionphile Unboxed as its first guest.
