Mini bio
How it started.
Chica’s partner encouraged her to try streaming from a PlayStation 4 with a console camera. In her StockX interview, Chica recalled worrying about spending her last $60 on that camera. The early streams gave her people to talk to while she was living in Canada.
Finding an audience.
Chica credits Friday Fortnite tournaments with bringing viewers to her streams, and TikTok with helping that audience grow across platforms. Her English and Spanish broadcasts became home to the Pollo Army.
Becoming part of the game.
After streaming with TSM, Chica joined Luminosity in 2020. Fortnite added her Icon Series set in May 2022, including an outfit, Chica’s Star Back Bling and The Pollo Dance. That October, she became a StockX brand ambassador.
The community comes first.
In interviews, Chica talks about making her channel welcoming to women and the LGBTQIA+ community. Her recent YouTube work mixes Fortnite challenges, collaborations and reactions to new updates.
