Mini bio
How it started.
Crumb grew out of friendships at Tufts University, where Lila Ramani, Bri Aronow, Jesse Brotter and Jonathan Gilad played in different bands. They began working together on songs Ramani had already written, releasing the Crumb EP in 2016 and Locket in 2017. Those early songs turned a recording project into a touring band.
Finding their people.
Locket spread online, helped by a music video directed by Haoyan of America that bends the band through a 360-degree camera. Their first full-length album, Jinx, arrived in 2019, followed by Ice Melt in 2021. Crumb have released their albums independently through Crumb Records.
A wider world.
In 2023, they teamed up with Melody’s Echo Chamber for “Le Temple Volant.” Their third studio album, AMAMA, followed in May 2024, produced by Crumb, Jonathan Rado and Johnscott Sanford. Live!, released in December 2025, gathers songs from across their catalog as performed on the AMAMA tour.
