Mini bio

How it started.

Sloan Struble grew up in Aledo, Texas, where football was a bigger part of local life than making music. A cousin introduced Sloan to GarageBand at ten. After using up its loops, Sloan learned instruments to keep making songs independently, eventually recording Fuzzybrain at home.

The song that traveled.

Released in 2018, “Can I Call You Tonight?” found listeners through blogs, YouTube and Spotify. Sloan told Popdust that emailing the small blog Honey Punch helped the song find its audience. As Dayglow grew, Sloan left advertising studies at the University of Texas at Austin to pursue music.

Finding the Dayglow sound.

Harmony House followed in 2021, then People in Motion in 2022. For the 2024 self-titled album, Sloan sold half the studio gear and returned to a guitar, computer and inexpensive recording interface. Sloan wrote, performed, recorded, produced and mixed the album, describing it as a clearer introduction to Dayglow.

The latest chapter.

The 2025 deluxe edition, Dayglow (Superbloom), added six songs to the self-titled record. That year also brought “Change Song” on A Minecraft Movie’s soundtrack and a supporting slot with Twenty One Pilots. In 2026, the Harmony House anniversary brought two previously unreleased songs to vinyl.
