Mini bio

Before the toast mask.

Jeremy Wang, known online as Disguised Toast, is a Taiwanese-Canadian creator. Before streaming, Toast studied mathematics at the University of Waterloo. In 2015, Hearthstone statistics became a way into making things for other fans: infographics on Reddit led to videos about card interactions, odd bugs and the numbers behind a play.

Making room for curiosity.

In an early GosuGamers interview, Toast described finding a gap beyond regular gameplay: lore, interactions and explanations could be fun to watch too. Humor helped those ideas reach more people. Toast’s 2015 Reddit AMA celebrated 100,000 YouTube subscribers and credited the infographics with helping the channel get noticed.

From cards to crewmates.

Toast joined OfflineTV in 2017 and expanded into games including Teamfight Tactics. Among Us brought a much larger audience in late 2020 and early 2021. One memorable upload follows a lobby with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar, turning the game’s trust and bluffing into a shared moment with people well beyond the usual gaming circle.

Building a team to root for.

In 2023, Toast founded Disguised, also called DSG, initially entering VALORANT. The organization’s own account describes a self-funded team built around its community. Its first year included a North American Challengers League Summer title in League of Legends. Toast’s work now connects variety gaming, collaborations with friends and following the teams as their owner.
