Mini bio

How it started.

Chris began making skincare content during his dermatology residency, when pandemic restrictions made seeing a doctor harder. His early videos focused on products people could buy over the counter. Viewers responded with questions, giving him a steady source of topics.

Finding his audience.

Med Creator 101 describes his first dermatology video as a poorly lit bathroom recording that received four views. By his July 2026 appearance, the show described an audience of nearly three million. His path grew from simple explanations and consistent posting.

From training to his own clinic.

California-born Chris earned his medical degree at the University of Missouri–Kansas City and completed residency at the University of Kansas, where he served as Cosmetic Chief. He founded The Dermatology Collective in Glendora, with medical and cosmetic care under one roof. His practice lists lasers and acne scarring among his specialisms.

What guides the videos.

In his American Medical Journal interview, Chris described social media as an extension of his clinical work. He said he chooses brand partnerships around products he uses and would recommend in his clinic, and tries to acknowledge mistakes openly.
