How it started.
Neera’s work in skin education grew out of medicine. She completed George Washington University’s combined BA/MD program, trained in dermatology at Harvard Medical School and became a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. Her practice biography also records more than 25 peer-reviewed publications, reviews and book chapters.
From teaching to the feed.
In her Med Creator 101 interview, she described taking her interest in teaching from academic dermatology to social media. Early experiments with TikTok trends led to a viral video about dark circles. Quick edits, captions and relatable storytelling became part of how she explains skin concerns online.
