Mini bio
How it started.
Jaron grew up fascinated by animals and plants. His family nicknamed him Dr. Plants because so many living things arrived for him in the mail. He spent years studying YouTube before launching a channel he initially kept secret.
Building little worlds.
His early rainforest film, published in August 2022, followed a living-room ecosystem for more than a year. The 100-day desert and forest films helped establish the channel’s focus on miniature habitats and the animals living in them.
A wider world.
The channel expanded into ant colonies, an indoor beehive and egg hatching. Jaron’s studio describes animals, insects and plants as characters in its stories. In interviews, he has said he wants to build a nature media company that helps more people connect with animals.
