How it started.
Sonya says her mother’s work as a therapist helped draw her to the profession. A sex and couples therapy seminar sparked her interest in hormones and relationship decisions. She began sharing what she learned online while working toward her psychology doctorate.
Finding her audience.
Her public work combines humor with conversations about pleasure, bodies and relationships. Sexual Health Alliance identifies her as a 2024 sex therapy graduate and a presenter, and reports a TikTok audience of more than half a million.
