Creative roots.
Evangeline came to beauty through several creative interests. In a 2022 Hola Neon interview, she described working in visual art, creative writing, and music, including ten years in a feminist rock band. By then, she was sharing makeup and self-portrait photography on Instagram and TikTok and making chatty makeup videos with her mother on Angels on Broomsticks.
Beauty as expression.
Her work explores the connections between beauty, aesthetics, ritual, and art. On YouTube, that means tutorials alongside thoughtful explorations of popular and niche aesthetics. Her style-essence series includes a haunting Oneiric look and a Romantic, Ethereal, and Natural blend she calls Casual Aphrodite. Her Oneiric tutorial also inspired a Her Campus article exploring the aesthetic.
From videos to a guide.
In November 2025, Evangeline introduced the Ethereal Aura Style Guide. The 51-page digital book brings together moodboards and clothing, makeup, and hair suggestions around four auras: Angelic, Enchanting, Mythic, and Bewitching. Her aim is to make imaginative style ideas wearable in everyday life.
A creative life.
In October 2026, she shared lessons from leaving a 9-to-5 job to pursue a self-employed creative career. Alongside makeup, her recent videos explore thoughtful shopping, personal style, and finding beauty in ordinary days.
