How it started.
Farhan first found his audience as the vocalist of Lahore band Jal, joining after Atif Aslam’s departure. In 2011 he left to pursue solo music, explaining that he wanted more freedom over his work and the pace of his releases.
Songs and screen roles.
Roiyaan brought him wins at both the HUM Awards and Lux Style Awards in 2015. He began acting with De Ijazat Jo Tu in 2014, followed by Udaari, Suno Chanda and Mere Humsafar. Fans know him as Arsal in Suno Chanda and Hamza in Mere Humsafar.
Returning to music.
With Khat, he began rolling out his first solo album in November 2025, starting with its title track. In a Khaleej Times interview, he explained that releasing songs separately would give each one time with listeners. He also credited becoming a father with renewing his desire to make music.
