Gabbie grew up in New Castle, Pennsylvania, and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh. She began posting comedy skits on Vine in 2013, then launched The Gabbie Show on YouTube in 2014. In a later interview, she described moving from marketing work into taking her social posts seriously, eventually bringing her audience into music and art.
Words into songs.
In 2017, she released her debut single, Out Loud, and her first illustrated poetry collection, Adultolescence. Her publisher identifies her as a New York Times bestselling author. She followed with the EP 2WAYMIRROR in 2019 and the poetry collection Dandelion in 2020, keeping personal writing at the center of both sides of her work.
A wider sound.
Her 2022 album Trauma Queen brought her music toward rock, followed later that year by This Time Next Year. She has also worked on screen, appearing in Escape the Night and co-hosting MTV’s revived Total Request Live. In 2026, her YouTube uploads have included a new podcast and a series of personal testimony videos.
