Mini bio
From ballet to the farm.
Raised in Utah as the eighth of nine children, Hannah grew up helping in her parents’ flower shop. She trained at Juilliard and graduated in 2012. Later, while living in São Paulo, she danced with a local company and discovered farm hotels on weekend trips with Daniel. Those visits sparked their interest in agriculture.
Finding her audience.
After returning to Utah, Hannah and Daniel built Ballerina Farm. She told Glamour that the business launched in 2017 and that Instagram Stories helped her share the learning curve of becoming a farmer. Documenting a wildfire the following year brought a larger audience and support for their community.
Food, family and a growing business.
Her channels bring fans into the kitchen and onto the farm, with cooking, sourdough and family life at the center. In 2025 she added The Goose Gazette, sharing longer reflections and recipes while studying at Ballymaloe in Ireland. That spring, her newsletter also followed the Kamas Farm Stand opening and preparations for the Midway store.
