Mini bio

How it started.

Hannah started busking in Leeds at 17. Self-taught on guitar and vocals, they performed covers and original songs before sharing performances on YouTube. In a 2018 interview, Hannah said requests from listeners gave them the confidence to release original music.

Finding an audience.

YouTube brought those street performances to listeners far beyond Leeds. Acoustic interpretations of Hallelujah and Sam Smith’s Stay With Me became signature videos, and Hannah toured and recorded with Boyce Avenue. The partnership also helped them develop their guitar and vocal technique.

Original songs.

Hannah released the 14-track debut album Red on 31 August 2018 through TeaPot Records. In interviews, they described its title as a way to capture feelings including love, lust, anger and jealousy. Heat of the Moment followed in 2023, and later credits include Miracle with Paul Maddox.

Sharing what they learned.

In 2023, Hannah published Making It Happen, a practical guide to building a sustainable music career. By May 2026, they were also speaking publicly as Pure Energy Music’s director of marketing and experience, drawing on their performing career to discuss how music connects people.
