Hindash

How it started.

Born and raised in Dubai, the Jordanian artist began with drawing, painting and photography. Makeup became part of that process: Hindash prepared models for photographs, then used those photographs as references for paintings. Requests to do other people’s makeup followed.

Finding an audience.

Sharing artwork and makeup online grew into an educational practice, with tutorials that explain how to build a look. By 2020, that work had taken Hindash onto the cover of Cosmopolitan Middle East as its first male cover star.

From canvas to cosmetics.

Hindash Cosmetics debuted in 2021 with Beautopsy, a six-pan gradient palette inspired by a painter’s palette. The line expanded with Monochromance and Color Fluid pigments in 2022. The products carry the same interest in mixing color that runs through the tutorials.
