Mini bio
How it started.
Hyram grew up on a cattle ranch in Arizona and moved to Hawaii for college. Skincare became a personal interest in his late teens. Working as a makeup artist at Saks Fifth Avenue brought him closer to products and ingredients, and he began making videos to share what he was learning.
Finding his audience.
He began posting on YouTube in 2017. Reviews, affordable finds and reactions to celebrity routines became familiar parts of his channel. In his Harper’s Bazaar interview, he traced his first major YouTube growth to late 2019, followed by a much bigger audience on TikTok during 2020.
Building something of his own.
Selfless by Hyram launched in June 2021 in collaboration with The Inkey List. The brand connected skincare with support for Rainforest Trust and Thirst Project. In March 2024, The Business of Fashion reported that Hyram had bought the brand from The Inkey List, with BHM handling distribution and licensing.
Beyond the bathroom shelf.
In 2022 he launched Justaposition with Ramble, making room for conversations about mental health, social media and personal experiences alongside skincare. His video channel continues to mix product reviews with personal updates, including his experience quitting nicotine.
