Mini bio
From Cardiff to The Voice.
Jamie grew up in Cardiff and first reached a wider audience by finishing third on The Voice UK in 2017. In a later Audacy interview, Jamie recalled working in a call centre fixing iPads before a post from Khloé Kardashian brought attention from record labels and helped make a move to America possible.
Songs fans found themselves in.
“Here’s Your Perfect” became a breakout in 2021. Jamie followed it with the EPs Broken Memories in 2022 and The Things I Left Unsaid in 2023, building a catalogue around heartbreak, loss and finding a way forward. In an interview with EUPHORIA., Jamie described making music to help listeners feel something.
The long way home.
The debut album Long Way Home arrived on October 18, 2024, with 14 tracks written by Jamie, including “Every Lifetime” featuring Tori Kelly. Jamie told BMG that personal journals helped shape the record after the move abroad left Jamie feeling disconnected from home.
A new rhythm.
For “Babydoll” in 2026, Jamie returned to the Motown and classic R&B heard growing up. The song gained a dance following online, received a duet version with Antonio Cipriano, and reached number one in the UK that October.
