Mini bio
Before the travel feed.
Jeremy grew up on a farm in Scotland and hoped to become a professional rugby player. Playing in New Zealand and travelling through Singapore opened up a much bigger world. After an injury ended the sporting ambition, the discipline of training stayed with them.
How it started.
Beautiful Destinations began in 2012 as a passion project. Jeremy used Instagram to share travel imagery and bring together people curious about the world. There was no business plan at the start. In an Esquire interview, Jeremy identified the first client, Burj Al Arab in Dubai, as the turning point.
From a feed to creative work.
The community grew into a travel content business working with tourism boards and hotels. In 2019, Brand USA partnered with Beautiful Destinations on United Stories, a campaign sharing American places and experiences through mobile storytelling.
Passing it on.
In 2025, Beautiful Destinations and Visit Dubai launched an academy for travel content creators. Jeremy joined its mentors, helping connect the creative side of travel videos with the commercial skills needed to build a career.
