Mini bio
How it started.
Katie grew up in Indiana performing with the Indiana Repertory Theatre before making New York her home. She graduated from Marymount Manhattan College’s musical theatre program in 2019.
Finding her audience.
In her BARE interview, Katie recalled being the friend people asked about sex and relationships. During quarantine, her girlfriend encouraged her to try TikTok. Katie said her first video reached half a million views, giving her peer-led sex education a wider audience.
From conversations to choreography.
Katie began working professionally in intimacy coordination in 2021 after studying with Theatrical Intimacy Education. She worked with Marymount Manhattan’s intimacy and movement faculty in 2022 and 2023, coordinating student productions, teaching workshops, and helping develop its intimacy curriculum. Her work has since expanded into short films, vertical dramas, and television pilots.
