How it started.
She began YouTube while recovering from a broken ankle in 2011. A distressed-shorts tutorial brought her early momentum.
Style with what you have.
Raised in Brooklyn, Kia brings sneakers, streetwear and high fashion into the same wardrobe. Her channel encourages fans to shop smarter and experiment with clothes they already own, through thrifting, upcycling, color theory and personal style lessons.
Making room for other creators.
Kia co-founded Kontent Queens in 2020 and co-hosted the podcast with Vic Styles, discussing the creator economy and building a lasting career. She also hosted and executive produced Sneaker Fiends, a series centered on women in sneaker culture.
Creating beyond the feed.
Her projects include the Signature PICK and an Amazon The Drop collection that her agency reports sold out. In 2024, she shared a Black Girls Sew workshop turning old jeans into skirts. These projects carry her interest in creating and reworking things into products and shared experiences.
