Mini bio
How it started.
Knox grew up in Prince George’s County, Maryland, writing poems, stories and songs. On his own website, he traces his beginnings to freestyling for money after school. In a 2018 interview, he said he began taking music seriously at 18 while playing football abroad.
Finding listeners.
By April 2014, Knox was promoting Redemption on a UK tour and had made theme songs for two League of Legends teams. Football remained part of his story: he later joined the Goluremi YouTube team after making music for the channel.
Building his own corner.
Knox’s YouTube channel combines original songs with reactions and lyric breakdowns. Blacklist marked a personal breakthrough: he calls it his first album to chart on iTunes. His later work includes Chaos Theory 2 and “Fentanyl” with Ren, whose video credits Knox, Ren and Samad Savage with production.
