How it started.
Laura’s early blog was London Fashion Girl. DIARY directory traced its beginnings to 2014, during university, followed by YouTube a year later. After studying fashion marketing and exploring a start-up idea, Laura focused on building a name through blogging and social media.
Finding a style.
In a 2020 interview with FIV, Laura described taking outfit photographs on lunch breaks and becoming serious about blogging in 2016. An early Instagram inspiration page grew into personal outfit posts. Laura later told London Runway that translating catwalk trends into high street looks helped the channel grow.
What fans come for.
Laura’s work mixes shopping edits with ideas for wearing and reworking clothes. In the London Runway interview, Laura described making videos about styling one piece several ways and helping viewers shop more thoughtfully. Today, IMPACT carries fashion edits, makeup looks and first-person diaries from brand trips.
