Mini bio

How it started.

Before the big live shows, Ludwig competed in Super Smash Bros. Melee. Streaming became full-time work in 2019, and experiments such as a Mario Party 4 button-mashing record helped build an audience.

The month that changed things.

In 2021, viewer subscriptions kept adding time to a stream that eventually lasted 31 days. The subathon reached 282,191 concurrent subscriptions, breaking Twitch’s record at the time. Ludwig later described the community’s support as something they were still proud of.

Making room for friends.

The Yard launched in 2021 with Ludwig, Nick, Slime and Aiden. The comedy podcast gave the friends a regular project to share after the subathon.

Taking the show outside.

Mogul Money Live brought Ludwig’s game show to the YouTube Theater in July 2022. The same year’s Mogul Chessboxing Championship paired chess with boxing. Streamer Games and the MCSR World Championship carry that interest in live competition into 2026.
