Mini bio

How it started.

Growing up in the Bronx, Kai loved watching YouTube and being in front of a camera. They started a channel in 2018, near the end of high school. In college, they began treating videos as a career, uploading every two days and committing to making content full time.

Finding a community.

Kai built an audience through comedy and joined the creator group AMP. By September 2021, both AMP and Kai’s own channel had passed one million subscribers. Streaming on Twitch opened another way to spend time with viewers, mixing conversation, games and collaborations.

Making longer moments.

The Mafiathon events turned extended livestreams into shared occasions for fans and guests. Mafiathon 2 earned a Best Marathon Stream award in December 2024. Mafiathon 3 went further in 2025, ending with a Guinness-recognized subscriber record. Kai also created Streamer University, beginning with a four-day event at the University of Akron.

Learning another craft.

In 2026, Kai brought Vivet to the New York runway. They studied garment construction and textiles in Italy while developing the label. The debut collection, Journal 1, takes its name from the notebook used to document that process.
