How it started.
Born in Senegal and raised in Chivasso, Italy, Khaby started posting on TikTok after losing his factory job during the pandemic. Recording in his bedroom became a way to pursue something he had enjoyed since childhood: making people laugh.

His videos take elaborate life hacks and answer them with an obvious solution, a patient look and open palms. The format crosses language barriers. He reached 100 million TikTok followers in 2021 and became the platform’s most-followed creator in 2022.
Beyond the phone screen.
Khaby has brought that familiar humour into a BOSS capsule collection, Fortnite and the travel series Khaby Is Coming to America. The Tubi series follows him through Miami, New York and New Orleans, meeting celebrity guides including David Beckham and Jon Batiste.
Making room for young people.
In 2025, Khaby became a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, advocating for children’s rights. His later roles with UN Tourism and Dakar 2026 also put youth opportunity and cultural connection at the centre of his public work.
